The song tells the story of Christmas when I was a child, surrounded by family, and the excitement of my grandparents arriving on Christmas Day to celebrate with us. It then talks about how tough it was in the first Christmas after they died, before travelling on to the present day, where the next generation has been born, the story has come full circle, and they are enjoying the same magic of being with family at Christmas.
